As a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Platform - Guest App, you will own key initiatives that improve mobile platform capabilities, developer workflows, and release reliability. You will combine technical leadership, automation expertise, and product thinking to build scalable systems supporting thousands of mobile applications.

• Improve mobile developer experience across local development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Build and maintain tooling, automation, and guardrails that enable safe and reliable releases at scale.
• Strengthen mobile CI/CD pipelines and distribution workflows across Apple App Store and Google Play ecosystems.
• Improve release reliability, application freshness, monitoring, and operational visibility.
• Design and implement solutions for complex mobile platform challenges involving build systems, certificates, compliance, and store workflows.
• Leverage automation and AI-powered tools to improve engineering efficiency and operational scalability.
• Contribute to the mobile application codebase when platform and product initiatives overlap.
• Partner closely with product, design, engineering, and launch teams to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives from architecture and design through production deployment.
• Provide mentorship, thoughtful code reviews, and technical guidance to help raise engineering standards.
• Participate in hiring efforts and contribute to building a strong engineering culture.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with experience building production mobile applications and improving engineering platforms at scale. You should have strong technical expertise, ownership mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to solve complex problems.

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production software applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience developing and maintaining mobile applications, with React Native experience being highly preferred.
• Proven experience owning mobile application releases from development through production.
• Experience managing mobile distribution workflows, including App Store and/or Google Play releases, versioning, compliance, certificates, and provisioning.
• Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and automating build and deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, debugging, and production reliability practices.
• Ability to navigate complex external platforms and technical systems.
• Experience working in product-focused startups, scale-ups, or technology-driven environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and business teams.
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving ambiguous problems, and driving technical improvements.
