  • Develop and evolve observability solutions, including monitoring systems, alerting frameworks, service-level objectives (SLOs), and performance analysis capabilities.
  • Contribute to AI-powered operational solutions that automate detection, remediation, and repetitive engineering workflows.
  • Identify recurring operational challenges and eliminate technical toil through automation, process improvements, and scalable solutions.
  • Partner with product engineering teams to improve reliability practices, reduce operational overhead, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Establish and champion operational excellence standards through engineering guidelines, guardrails, scorecards, and shared frameworks.
  • Analyze system performance, reliability metrics, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code focused on infrastructure, deployment, automation, and operational challenges.
  • Mentor engineers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with strong experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, reliability, and developer experience. You should be comfortable working on large-scale systems, collaborating across teams, and using modern technologies to improve engineering effectiveness.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in infrastructure, platform engineering, or developer experience-focused teams.
  • Strong expertise in observability, reliability engineering, operational metrics, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Proven experience designing monitoring frameworks, SLO platforms, and automated response workflows.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience building and supporting large-scale enterprise software applications.
  • Experience designing internal developer tools, engineering portals, or solutions that simplify software delivery workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or similar environments.
  • Experience applying AI-driven automation across the software development lifecycle to improve productivity and reduce engineering friction.
  • Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or equivalent languages, particularly for infrastructure and operational solutions.
  • Experience with incident management tools such as PagerDuty, Incident.io, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and acting as a technical leader.
  • Growth mindset with a proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and team practices.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual compensation package based on experience, skills, and location.
  • Eligibility for equity opportunities through company stock programs.
  • Performance-based rewards and opportunities for long-term career growth.
  • Flexible remote working model designed to support different working preferences.
