  • Identify, debug, and resolve functional and non-functional issues across applications and services.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure consistent, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Support deployment activities, ensuring smooth releases across development, staging, and production environments.

  • Provide technical guidance to product owners and team members, supporting decision-making and delivery planning.
  • Maintain and improve code quality, engineering standards, documentation, and team development practices.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer working in modern web application environments.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend and backend technologies, with experience across modern frameworks and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams with product owners, designers, and engineers.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application development.
  • Strong skills in debugging, problem-solving, and resolving complex production issues.
  • Experience contributing to technical documentation, design artifacts, and collaborative engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and modern development toolchains.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Nice to have: experience working on public sector, government, or large-scale digital transformation projects.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work with occasional on-site meetings in Edmonton when required
  • Long-term contract opportunity with potential extension up to 24 months
  • Competitive contractor compensation aligned with senior-level expertise
  • Opportunity to contribute to impactful public digital services
  • Collaborative and cross-functional agile environment
  • Exposure to large-scale digital transformation initiatives
