Description:

SUMMARY: The Training & Compliance Coordinator manages volunteer and staff training, compliance, credentialing, and documentation processes. This position ensures compliance with standards established by National CASA/GAL, Kansas CASA, the Kansas Office of Judicial Administration, and CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties. The role facilitates volunteer training, maintains compliance records, supports accreditation efforts, and collaborates with program staff to ensure volunteers are prepared and credentialed for service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training Coordination & Administration

§ Facilitate and deliver Pre-Service Training for CASA volunteer advocates.

§ Maintain and update training materials, schedules, and participant records.

§ Develop, facilitate, and continuously improve volunteer training programs, including coordination of guest speakers and subject matter experts.

§ Track completion of volunteer and staff training requirements.

§ Monitor continuing education compliance and communicate requirements to volunteers and staff.

§ Support onboarding and orientation processes for new staff members.

§ Maintain training records in accordance with organizational, accreditation, and judicial requirements.

§ Maintain flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to ensure timely completion of volunteer training requirements.

Compliance & Credentialing

§ Also Verify volunteer eligibility and readiness requirements prior to case assignment.

§ Monitor volunteer compliance with ongoing training and credentialing requirements.

§ Maintain volunteer and staff records, certifications, acknowledgments, and compliance documentation.

§ Ensure documentation meets standards established by National CASA, Kansas CASA, OJA, and CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties.

§ Assist with preparation for accreditation reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.

Data Management & Reporting

§ Maintain accurate training, compliance, and credentialing data within organizational databases and recordkeeping systems.

§ Generate routine compliance and training reports for leadership.

§ Support data collection and reporting required by accreditation bodies, grant funders, and regulatory agencies.

Program Support & Quality Assurance

§ Collaborate with Program staff to ensure volunteers meet requirements for continued service.

§ Support quality assurance initiatives related to volunteer and staff development.

§ Assist with the development and maintenance of training and compliance procedures.

§ Participate in continuous improvement efforts to strengthen program quality and consistency.

§ Provide administrative support related to volunteer and staff compliance functions.

§ Support volunteer recruitment, community outreach, and informational events as needed by representing CASA and assisting prospective volunteers through the recruitment process.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in training, compliance, credentialing, quality assurance, human resources, volunteer management, nonprofit operations, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and database management skills required, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. Experience facilitating training, presenting to groups, and working with compliance, learning management, or volunteer management systems is preferred.

Must be comfortable speaking to groups, facilitating training sessions, and representing CASA at volunteer recruitment, community outreach, and informational events. Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends to support training and organizational needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to CASA's mission of advocating for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
