What You'll Do

The Vroom Driver plays a vital role in bringing the Kelley’s Market experience directly to our customers’ doorsteps. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently fulfilling delivery orders, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and a positive customer experience with every interaction. The Vroom Driver may receive guidance and direction from Lead team members and reports directly to the Assistant Manager(s) and Station Manager. You will:

• Pick, pack, and prepare Vroom orders for prompt delivery
• Verify order accuracy to ensure customers receive exactly what they purchased
• Deliver orders efficiently while providing friendly, professional service at each stop
• Communicate effectively with the store team regarding order status, delays, or customer issues

• Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
• Safely operate company-provided vehicles in all weather conditions
• Handle products including beverages, snacks, tobacco (where permitted), and general merchandise with care
• Comply with all alcohol delivery regulations where applicable

• Assist with light in-store tasks such as order staging, stocking Vroom inventory, or organizing delivery supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment, staging areas, and vehicle interiors
• Report equipment issues, order discrepancies, or safety concerns to management promptly

Work as Part of Our Team

• Collaborate effectively with team members and take direction from leadership
• Follow all safety and security procedures, including proper cash handling
• Alert management to operational issues like equipment problems or customer concerns

What’s Required:

• Must be at least 21 years of age. Where required by law, the individual may be required to obtain an Operator License to sell alcohol products in select markets.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in a convenience store, gas station, or retail environment.
• Prior delivery, courier, gig-economy driving, or customer-service experience
• Familiarity with mobile delivery apps or order-picking processes
• Experience handling cash and completing shift reports or basic bookkeeping tasks.
