Job Description

The Inventory Data Entry Technician is responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and auditing inventory-related data within the company’s ERP/MRP system. This role supports production, purchasing, and warehouse operations by ensuring real-time inventory accuracy and data integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions

  • Enter daily inventory transactions including receipts, issues, transfers, cycle counts, and adjustments into ERP/MRP system.
  • Maintain accurate item master data including part numbers, descriptions, units of measure, and bin locations.
  • Verify production reports, work orders, and material usage for data accuracy.
  • Process purchase order receipts and reconcile discrepancies with Purchasing and Receiving
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle count programs.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances in coordination with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams
  • Generate inventory and transaction reports for management review
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical documentation related to inventory transactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and internal controls
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Print Shop orders
  • Pull and stage parts for upcoming production.
  • Additional job duties as requested.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4-year Degree preferred and/or equivalent working experience.
  • 1–3 years of data entry or inventory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (ie - NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
  • NetSuite certification is helpful but not required.

The pay range for this role is:
18 - 22 USD per hour(Woodstock, IL)
