Overview
This is a full-time career opportunity that can be hybrid within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA.
This role will be focused on Treasury Management products and services.
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the development, implementation and performance of one or more assigned banking products. The Product Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned product, ensuring the product is attractive, efficient, compliant, competitive and profitable; and has the ability to direct internal and external resources in efforts to maximize product success.
Product Management is responsible for the development, implementation and on-going management of specific banking products. Activities include assessment of the competitive market, design and refinement of specific products, evaluation and selection of third party vendors, development of plans for marketing, positioning and pricing, analysis of product performance and on-going product improvement.
Responsibilities
- Assess competitive marketplace to identify customer needs and banking opportunities, gain an understanding of competitor product offerings, positioning, pricing, etc.
- Lead product development process, establish milestones, timelines, conduct/oversee testing, evaluate internal processes and external vendors as required
- Develop product implementation schedule, determine target markets, marketing strategies and introductory communications, establish product pricing, and ensure that sales and customer service are prepared to support the product as required
- Coordinate the day-to-day efforts of external partners, conduct regular meetings, lead product initiatives, ensure adherence to establish terms regarding availability, performance, risk/security, and contribute to the evaluation and management of the overall FFC/vendor relationship
- Evaluate product performance, including penetration, profitability and alignment with FFC’s goals and objectives, develop remedial recommendations to address any weaknesses or improve product performance
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Business, Marketing or other applicable. (Required)
Experience3 or more years Banking, marketing or project management. (Required)
Treasury Management marketing or project management (Preferred)
