  • Conduct technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of system issues, including high-priority outages and performance incidents.
  • Perform system audits, acceptance testing, and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs and operational requirements.
  • Produce detailed technical reports documenting system status, deficiencies, corrective actions, and lifecycle recommendations.
  • Support integration and configuration of advanced analytics, system components, and security technologies across multi-site environments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client IT teams, integrators, and internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure service continuity and alignment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT environments with strong exposure to Video Management Systems (VMS), Access Control Systems (ACS), or physical security infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale deployments, troubleshooting, and system integration in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls, routing, PoE, and multicast environments.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Wireshark, PowerShell, and system diagnostics platforms.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, CompTIA A+, or equivalent are required or strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into clear solutions.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations, prioritize effectively, and travel extensively (50%+).
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience, skills, and market benchmarks in Canada, including a base salary range of approximately $95,000–$100,000 CAD.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits supporting physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Opportunity to work on a dedicated strategic enterprise account in a high-impact, mission-critical environment.
  • Exposure to advanced video security, access control, and large-scale enterprise infrastructure technologies.
  • Career development opportunities within a global technology and safety-focused organization.
  • Collaborative environment working alongside technical experts, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Inclusive and people-first culture emphasizing professional growth, diversity, and continuous learning.
