Job Description

Senior Program Manager - Sales Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Program Manager – Sales Operations based in Canada.

This is a high-impact, zero-to-one leadership role responsible for building and scaling the sales operations function that underpins revenue growth, forecasting accuracy, and go-to-market execution. You will design the frameworks, systems, and processes that bring structure and predictability to sales performance across the organization. Acting as a critical connector between Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Delivery teams, you will ensure alignment on pipeline visibility, revenue targets, and execution strategy. The role combines strategic program design with hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will play a central role in identifying growth opportunities, improving deal velocity, and strengthening overall sales effectiveness. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from scratch, and is motivated by creating scalable operational systems with measurable business impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and own the end-to-end Sales Operations function, including forecasting models, revenue planning frameworks, performance metrics, and scalable operational processes.
  • Design and implement systems that improve pipeline visibility, lead flow, conversion rates, sales productivity, and overall revenue performance.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and analytical models to track sales performance, forecast accuracy, and business growth indicators.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, BizDev, Executives, and Delivery teams to align on revenue targets, planning assumptions, and execution strategies.
  • Support the sales organization in reviewing, structuring, and managing client proposals, pricing models, and contract workflows.
  • Identify and drive high-impact initiatives that improve go-to-market efficiency, win rates, and deal velocity.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of the full sales lifecycle, ensuring alignment from pipeline generation through deal closure and delivery handoff.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Program Management, Business Operations, or similar roles in consulting, agency, or high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience building sales operations, forecasting systems, and revenue planning functions from zero-to-one.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, including pipeline analysis, forecasting, and building dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
  • Experience designing and managing client proposals, pricing structures, and contract workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders and executive leadership across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments while making structured, data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in risk management, conflict resolution, and balancing competing priorities in high-pressure situations.
  • Background in startup or high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range: $140,000 – $180,000 USD, based on experience, skills, and location
  • Fully remote work with flexible working hours
  • Home office setup budget to support your workspace
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage tailored to employees and families
  • Minimum 3 weeks of flexible paid time off (excluding holidays)
  • Monthly wellness and mental health allowance
  • Professional development budget for training, certifications, and learning opportunities
  • Profit-sharing program tied to company performance
  • 401(k) retirement contribution program
  • Paid sabbatical program for rest and long-term recharge
  • Annual offsites to strengthen team connection and collaboration
  • “No internal meetings” Fridays to support deep focused work.
