About the Role:

The Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant plays a vital role in supporting licensed counselors and treatment teams in delivering effective care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This position focuses on assisting with client intake, monitoring progress, and facilitating communication between clients and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment experience. The assistant helps maintain accurate records, coordinates appointments, and provides educational resources to clients and their families. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment methodologies.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities:
