Summary:
Looking for a dynamic role where your relationship-building skills meet strategic planning? As a Market Development Specialist, you’ll be the ultimate go-to partner and point of contact for our publishers and sales leaders across an assigned region.
This position plays an important part in the success of our magazines by providing excellent customer service to our sales field. They are the point of contact for all publishers and sales leaders in their assigned region and are responsible for working with new and existing publishers to create and maintain their distribution market maps for their BVM magazines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead regular onboarding classes for incoming Field Representatives and Associate Publishers (APs), making those crucial, welcoming first connection calls.
- Collaborate closely with APs and our research team to design and suggest high-potential distribution markets that align with BVM Mapping Guidelines.
- Act as the dedicated point of contact for your assigned region, smoothly servicing requests from existing field reps.
- Create, verify, and maintain high-quality maps and mailing lists that align with publication themes and regional sales structures.
- Ensure accuracy of all backend information, including baseline metrics, user assignments, and profile verifications for new recruits.
Skills and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Proven track record of handling high-volume backend data, mapping, or regional logistics.
