This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced Workday professional to lead the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of enterprise human capital management solutions.
The role serves as a key subject matter expert, partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable Workday capabilities.
You will play a critical role in enhancing processes, resolving complex system challenges, and supporting continuous improvements across the organization.
The position requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
Working in a collaborative remote environment, you will contribute to platform stability, innovation, and operational excellence.

As the Workday HCM Lead, you will own key aspects of Workday HCM configuration, support, and enhancement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform continues to meet evolving business requirements while maintaining strong governance and reliability.
- Lead Core HCM and Compensation configuration activities, ensuring solutions align with business needs and best practices.
- Configure and maintain organizations, staffing models, positions, job profiles, worker data, and related HCM structures.
- Support and optimize Workday business processes, security roles, reporting capabilities, calculated fields, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot Workday issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Support Workday releases, testing cycles, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and project teams to deliver successful Workday solutions.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on Workday functionality, configuration decisions, and system improvements.
- Help maintain system performance, data accuracy, and operational efficiency across the Workday environment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Workday HCM professional with strong configuration expertise, enterprise support experience, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You should have a deep understanding of Workday functionality and a proven ability to manage complex HCM technology environments.
- Active Workday HCM Pro Certification required.
- 7+ years of Workday HCM experience, including configuration, enhancements, and production support.
- 4+ years of hands-on Workday Compensation configuration experience.
- Strong experience with Workday Security, Business Processes, Reporting, Calculated Fields, and Integrations.
- Proven experience troubleshooting Workday issues and supporting system enhancements.
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR, IT, payroll, and business teams.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
