We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full-cycle accounts payable process across multiple entities. You will be responsible for validating charges, monitoring company spend, managing treasury operations related to vendor disbursements, and maintaining clean financial data across our ERP and expense platforms.

Note: This is a full-time position, and we are looking for a local candidate to work in the office at our Morrisville, NC headquarters.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including reviewing incoming invoices, verifying supporting documentation, assigning accurate account coding, and tracking approvals.
  • Execute vendor disbursements while maintaining adherence to internal controls and payment records.
  • Manage corporate travel and expense processing using systems like Ramp.
  • Reconcile AP activity, accruals, and related ledger balances to support accurate month-end financial reporting.
  • Act as the primary point of contact to promptly resolve vendor billing questions, payment issues, and internal transaction inquiries.
  • Prepare detailed payment documentation, account breakdowns, and transaction histories for internal and external audits.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience, ideally within a fast-paced Shared Services environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Rillet, Ramp and NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of accrual accounting principles, invoice processing workflows, and internal financial controls.
  • Highly organized with excellent data entry accuracy. Ability to seamlessly multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation for dealing with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualified Applicants

  • Will be at least 18 years of age
  • Will have a minimum of bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Can read, write, and fluently speak and understand English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Are confident using technology and navigating technology applications
  • Will be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer in the US.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly remain in a stationary position, including sitting and standing, throughout the workday.

  • Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, operate, manipulate, and feel objects, tools, controls, and equipment.
