Job Description
Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Hillsborough, NJ is hiring a full- time Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding surgery team!
We offer a generous sign- on bonus for qualified candidates - $2,500!
Rate: Starting at $30/hr
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in specialty or emergency medicine and be eager to advance their surgical skills.
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a specialty or emergency hospital
- Proficient in monitoring anesthesia IS A MUST!
- Ability to intubate patients
- Skilled in IV catheter placement and phlebotomy (various sites)
- Strong understanding of disease processes and treatment protocols
- Experience with IV fluid pumps and medication calculations/administration
- Capable of identifying subtle signs of pain, deterioration, or improvement in patients
- Confidence in caring for and monitoring critically ill patients
- CVT preferred
