Make Every Customer Interaction Count

Are you someone who enjoys working with people, finding solutions, and helping customers make informed decisions? We are seeking a motivated Vehicle Rental Sales & Service Associate to join our team serving the Murray and Salt Lake City areas.

In this role, you will guide customers through the rental process, recommend vehicles and optional services, manage rental paperwork, and help coordinate daily branch activity. You will balance customer interaction with computer-based tasks and communication with our fleet team to keep operations running smoothly.

You do not need prior experience in the rental car industry to succeed. We provide training to help you learn our systems, understand rental procedures, and develop your customer service and sales skills.

• Welcome customers, learn about their transportation needs, and help them navigate the rental process.
• Prepare and manage rental agreements for new reservations, vehicle returns, extensions, and vehicle exchanges.
• Explain rental policies, vehicle options, and contract details in a clear and professional manner.
• Help customers select an appropriate vehicle based on availability and their individual needs.
• Assist customers arranging transportation through insurance claims, replacement rentals, and local business accounts.
• Respond to questions, address routine concerns, and work toward practical solutions when issues arise.

• Present available vehicle upgrades and optional protection products to customers.
• Explain product features and benefits so customers can make informed choices.
• Recognize opportunities to recommend additional services that align with customer needs.
• Accurately process payments, complete rental documentation, and maintain organized records.
• Contribute to branch sales objectives while maintaining professional and customer-focused service.

• Record vehicle mileage, fuel levels, and visible condition details during rental pickup and return procedures.
• Coordinate with fleet staff to identify suitable vehicles and confirm availability.
• Enter and update customer, reservation, contract, and vehicle information in company software.
• Help maintain an orderly, professional branch and customer service area.
• Communicate vehicle concerns and operational needs to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with additional branch duties to support daily business activity.

We are interested in candidates who are personable, organized, and motivated to learn. This position is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of customer interaction, sales, administrative responsibilities, and hands-on operational support.

Relevant experience may include retail sales, hospitality, banking, front-desk service, call centers, automotive services, or other customer-facing roles. Previous rental car experience is welcome but not necessary.

We are looking for someone who can:

• Build rapport with customers and communicate professionally.
• Listen to customer needs and explain available solutions confidently.
• Approach sales conversations positively and recommend relevant products.
• Handle financial transactions, contracts, and computer entries accurately.
• Stay organized when managing several tasks or customers at once.
• Learn company procedures, software, and rental industry practices.
• Take responsibility for assigned work while collaborating with coworkers.
• Maintain a dependable, professional approach to attendance and customer service.

We offer training, performance incentives, and opportunities to grow within our rental operations.

• Paychecks issued every two weeks
• Opportunities to earn sales incentives
• Paid onboarding and job training
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees
• Paid time off
• Holiday pay
• Opportunities to develop sales and operational skills and pursue advancement

Join a team where customer service, sales, and day-to-day operations come together. As a Vehicle Rental Sales & Service Associate, you will gain practical experience, build valuable communication skills, and contribute directly to helping customers get where they need to go.

If you are dependable, enjoy working with people, and are ready to learn a new industry, we encourage you to apply.
