Responsibilities

At SAM, we're always looking to connect with experienced Professional Land Surveyors (PLS) who are passionate about delivering high-quality work, mentoring others, and helping grow our business.

Whether your expertise is in boundary, transportation, land development, utilities, energy, construction, public infrastructure, or geomatics, we'd love to start a conversation. We're growing throughout the Western United States and are looking for licensed survey professionals who want the opportunity to lead projects, build client relationships, and make an impact on the communities we serve.

This is a unique opportunity designed to grow with you. While the foundation of the role centers on technical excellence, project execution, and team collaboration, we recognize that every survey professional brings different strengths and career aspirations.

Depending on your experience and long-term goals, this position may include project management, client development, technical leadership, mentoring, operational oversight, or strategic growth initiatives. We believe in investing in our people by providing opportunities to expand your responsibilities, develop new skills, and advance your career.

We're interested in connecting with experienced licensed survey professionals for Project Surveyors and senior technical roles. Our preference is for candidates located near our offices in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Denver; however, we're open to relocation for the right candidate. We may also consider remote work for exceptional individuals in growth markets whose experience aligns with our needs and plans for future expansion.
