The current opportunity would work out of our Kentwood, MI location.

The Opportunity:

This position is for a 2nd shift Shipping Clerk depending on experience. This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people. In this role, you will report to the Shipping Supervisor.

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma
• Should have reading, writing, communication, and math skills
• Customer relations experience
• Basic skill and understanding of computers

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Should have standard knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CMS/MRP Systems
• Working knowledge of export documentation
• Successful completion of training on Customer Portal use.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Track containers
• Create and send Bill of Ladings and ASNs in CMS
• Process receipts
• Track and process all carriers
• Process customer internet-based requirements
• Housekeeping
• UPS and FedEx Process and delivery
• Monthly physical inventory processing, posting, and reporting.
• Perform cycle counts on FGS / Components and WIP weekly inventory.
• Provides EDI and MRP system support for users.
