| Position Summary: | As a key member of the College of Professional Studies (CPS), the Assistant Director of College Technology and Operations plays a crucial role in providing technological and operational support to the Associate Director of College Data & Technology under the supervision of the Director, College Operations, ensuring alignment with UNIT technology and services policies and standards, as well as university-wide data governance policies. This position is responsible for managing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing CPS’s technology environment, including enrollment and information systems, within the broader UNIT technology framework and in adherence to UNIT standards and policies. The Assistant Director will coordinate new technology projects in areas such as recruiting, admissions, and student services, working with UNIT and college leaders to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and alignment with institutional technology standards. Additionally, this role coordinates & facilitates training sessions and offers software support tailored to college specific needs, and may partner with UNIT to develop new training programs, enhance existing ones, or offer them to the broader university as needed. The Assistant Director collaborates on new projects to enhance the College’s enrollment and information systems, and is responsible for implementing continuous improvement efforts to current systems to align with best practices, UNIT standards, and university-wide governance policies. |
