About the Role

As a Resident Care Aide (RCA)/Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities while supporting residents’ physical comfort, emotional well-being, and dignity. You’ll work alongside nurses and care team members to deliver high-quality care guided by our Hillside values. This role is ideal for caregivers who want to build genuine relationships and be part of a supportive, team-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobilitySupport residents during meals and with hydrationProvide incontinence care with professionalism and respectSafely transfer residents using mechanical lifts and mobility equipment (training provided)Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to the nurse on dutyHelp maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environmentCommunicate clearly and compassionately with residents, families, and team members

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalentExperience working with seniors or in a caregiving role (senior living or memory care preferred)Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely, including use of mechanical liftsAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishComfort providing personal care, including incontinence careCompassionate, reliable, and team-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

CNA certificationCaregiving experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Nursing HomeCollege coursework related to GeriatricsNursing, pre-PA, or medical college student

Schedule Options

Assisted Living: 8hr shifts with consistent set weekly scheduling availableAfternoon/Evening Shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) full & part-time positions available (day/midnight shifts currently not available)

Memory Care: 12hr shifts with consistent set weekly scheduling availableDay Shift (6:00am-6:00pm) full & part-time positions available Night Shift (6:00pm-6:00am) full-time position available
