The Gas Field Construction Technician main task is to ensure the gas field operations, maintenance, construction, and troubleshoot any problems which may arise. The Gas Field Construction Technician will be expected to complete assignments within acceptable work standards with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Ability to diagnose issues and problems with Landfill Gas Wells
- Ability to take corrective actions on Landfill Gas Wells
- Promptly communicate with managers about any issues that were observed pertaining to any Landfill Gas Well
- Ability to lift and remove Gas Well Pneumatic pumps from Well Caisson
- Ability to fabricate and install complete setups for Gas Well pumps
- Ability to fabricate and install complete setups for Gas Well air system
- Ability to fabricate and install complete setups for Gas Well LFGL system
- Ability to fabricate and install complete setups for Gas Well Vacuum system
- Know how to Fusion Butt Weld HDPE piping and components o
- Provide construction modifications to the Gas Field Manager
- Provide support to rest of team members
- Perform daily checks on equipment (ATV’s, Work Trucks and Kubota’s)
- Ability to inspect tools before use – Do not use any broken or altered tool
- Read and understand basic piping and support drawings
- Work in hot, cold, or rainy weather
- Be able to climb on equipment
- Keep the work area clean.
- Preferred non-smoker
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Be able to read and write English
- Understand the process system of the gas field
- Be able to be fit tested and wear a respirator
- Have dependable transportation to/from work
- Be able to handle stress, and interact effectively with others in the workplace
