Injection Well Operators are responsible for assuring safe and efficient operation of the disposal well system, centrifuges, DAFs, and screw presses. Maintain quality control and assure complete compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing environmental compliance, worker safety and underground injection well regulations. The Injection Well Operator will be expected to complete assignments within acceptable work standards with a minimum amount of supervision.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

  • General maintenance (greasing/cleaning equipment)
  • Changing sock filters as needed.
  • Unhook/ hook up hoses for offloading and loading of industrial waste waters.
  • Complete shift, environmental, and injection logs.
  • Monitor pumps and hoses during truck unload.
  • Meet compliance requirements with county, state, and federal regulatory rules and regulations.
  • Ensure manifests are completed with accuracy and signed by drivers.
  • Perform P.H and specific gravity testing on samples.
  • Effectively communicate with shift relief and management.
  • Attend company meetings as requested.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Keep work area neat and clean.
  • Wear the required (company provided) PPE and follow safety guidelines and procedures.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Positive attitude and good work ethic.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to climb staircase and work on catwalk of 5’-25’.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to execute duties based off instruction with little supervision or guidance.
  • Be able to handle stress, and interact effectively with others in the workplace

Safety is an important part of our operation. All employees are required to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots, reflective vest).
