Job Description
Position Summary: |
The Subcontract Representative (SR) is the point of contact for all of the managerial aspects of the subcontract for low, moderate or high-hazard work and is responsible for oversight of a subcontractor's performance to include the safety, security, and quality requirements under a subcontract. This is a matrixed position reporting to the Senior Manager, Subcontractor Representative in Strategic Planning and Integration (SP&I) As the “home” organization, SP&I is responsible for developing the policies, procedures and systems that will be implemented across the project and ensuring that those policies, procedures and systems are appropriately implemented by the SRs. SP&I will also be responsible for training and qualification of the personnel. SRs will take day-to-day direction from the N3B operations programs (ER and CH-TRU) to ensure they are supporting the priorities of the programs. This position requires creativity and flexibility to meet new challenges and the expertise to apply appropriate solutions efficiently. |

Education & Experience: |
Level 2: A Bachelor's degree in a closely related field or a closely related field with at least three (3) years of related experience. However, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable. Level 3: A Bachelor's degree in a closely related field or a closely related field with at least five (5) years of related experience. However, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable. LEVEL 3:
BUSINESS ASSOCIATION: Level 2: Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Level 3: Represents organization as a prime contact on contacts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. IMPACT: Level 2: Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify. Level 3: Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization. |
