Performing all aspects of phlebotomy on patients of all ages; processing blood and other laboratory specimens; interacting with nursing units related to specimen and order tracking; computer inquiry.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalency required. Phlebotomy certification and phlebotomy experience

required. Acceptable certifications include those from of the following agencies:

ï‚· American Certification Agency (ACA) – CPT certificate

ï‚· American Medical Technologists (AMT) – RPT certificate

ï‚· American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) – PBT certificate

ï‚· American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT) - CPT certificate

ï‚· National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) – NCPT certificate

ï‚· National Healthcareer Association (NHA) – CPT certificate

ï‚· National Phlebtotomy Association (NPA) – CPT certificate
