Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to standardized recipes.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Assist in the planning and execution of menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Department to meet specific nutritional needs of clients.
• Utilize kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Help train and mentor Dietary Aides or junior kitchen staff as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
