Job Description:

ENTERPRISE DESKTOP ENGINEER

Engineer the Enterprise Desktop Experience

Are you the engineer people turn to when a problem is too complex for a standard fix?

Join a high-performing enterprise engineering team where you will design, automate, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the desktop platforms used across a large-scale enterprise environment. This is not traditional desktop support-you will engineer the platforms, solve difficult technical problems, and help shape how the next generation of the enterprise desktop is delivered.

You will have the opportunity to work across Windows and HPE ThinPro environments, enterprise application deployment, endpoint management, automation, security, networking, authentication, and infrastructure. You will work alongside engineers across multiple technology disciplines, giving you the opportunity to deepen your expertise while expanding your skills beyond a single technology silo.

What You'll Do

• Engineer enterprise desktop platforms by designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing Windows and thin-client images.

• Own application deployment and lifecycle engineering, from packaging and configuration through enterprise deployment, upgrades, and removal.

• Automate the work that should not be done manually, using PowerShell and other scripting technologies to improve consistency, speed, and reliability.

• Solve complex technical problems by analyzing operating systems, applications, configurations, logs, authentication, networking, and system dependencies to identify root cause.

• Design and implement new capabilities that improve endpoint reliability, performance, security, and user experience.

• Partner across engineering disciplines to move technology from concept through implementation and into production.

• Continuously improve the environment, challenging inefficient processes and identifying opportunities to make enterprise endpoint operations smarter, faster, and more reliable.

You will be trusted to take ownership, investigate problems, develop solutions, and execute with limited oversight. We value engineers who are curious, creative, technically driven, and willing to challenge the way things have always been done.

Why This Role?

You won't spend your career simply following someone else's procedure.

You will build the platform, automate the process, solve the difficult problem, and improve what comes next.

If you enjoy understanding how technology really works, connecting the dots across systems, and turning complex problems into reliable enterprise solutions, this is an opportunity to make an impact at scale.

Build it. Automate it. Solve it. Improve it.
