The RAC Specialist maintains accurate and timely entries and data requests into RAC software, tracks the process from initial receipt through the end of the process, performs complex reviews of medical records for audit purposes, assists in writing appeals and tracing the status of the appeals, assists with scheduling radiology appointments & insurance verification, obtain authorizations for radiology procedures for MCD & retro MCD and this position is also responsible for compiling minutes for the Revenue Cycle & physician Revenue Cycle meetings.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in billing and chart audits
