Job Description

The Clinical Manager at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Psychiatric Intervention Prevention Unit is a vital role, blending clinical expertise and leadership. You'll oversee patient care, advance performance metrics, and ensure a safe, high-quality experience. This role is key to our unit's success, driving excellence in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based patient-centered care.
Lead a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
Advance performance across key quality and operational metrics.
Assist the Clinical Director in staff management and performance reviews.
Monitor budgetary practices and prepare staff schedules.
Implement performance improvement activities and staff orientation.
Serve as a key communicator for organizational updates and policy changes.
Establish effective communication with physicians and professionals.
Promote mutual understanding of patient care plans and issues.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
Master's degree in Nursing within 3 years of hire.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Approved professional nursing certification within 1 year.
1-2 years of medical/surgical experience, with psychiatry experience preferred.
Crisis intervention experience is an asset.
Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
Proficiency in Clinical Applications is preferred.
