Function of Position:

Coordinate student, faculty, and program support at clinical sites.

Flexible work hours are required. The coordinator reports to the Dental Studies Program Director.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with dental healthcare professionals to ensure clinics are staffed and equipped each semester.
• Student outreach.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Assist in the development of clinical policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist licensed in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of full-time experience as a dental hygienist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clinical teaching experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently

Additional Information:

Salary: Hourly wage is $40-$45, depending on experience and credentials.

Schedule: 10-15 hours per week.
