The primary function of this role will be to originate and manage a portfolio of commercial and ag loans, with the overall object of maintaining and increasing asset quality; to develop new and existing business relationships, and sustain consistent high quality loan growth that meets the banks goals and objectives. This position will also direct the loan operations of a branch banking facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, service and growth plans as it related to the commercial and ag lending functions of the branch. You may be wondering what we are looking for in a candidate. Qualified candidates should demonstrate five to eight years of similar or related experience of which two to five years' experience specifically within banking and/or lending is preferred. Candidates should have an extensive knowledge of commercial and ag lending practices, policies, and procedures. A four-year degree in a relevant field or formal certifications recognized in the industry as an equivalent to a bachelor's degree should be held. Strong planning, organization, sales, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for this position.
