As an Application Support Specialist with our Information Technology Department you will assist in the implementation and maintenance of KS StateBank applications. You will also provide exceptional support to the KS StateBank team with computer and peripheral related issues that may arise throughout the day. Desktop and server management will be an essential part of this position.
We currently have a full-time position available Monday through Friday, working 40 hours per week.
Wages start at $50,000 to 55,000 per annum based on experience. Employee benefits include 401k with matching contributions, health, dental and vision insurance and paid time off including 11 paid federal holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or oversee software and application installations and upgrades
- Troubleshoot systems and applications to identify and remediate malfunctions; coordinate support with application vendors
- Provide support for core system users and device application functions
- Provide coordination with third-party information security providers
- Provide training for users on applications and security best practices
- Provide support via email, phone and ticketing system
- Participate in the setup of new facilities and facility conversions
- Help with exam remediations related to Windows operating systems
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or GED required. An associate degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.
- Minimum of five years in Information Technology field, preferably in a financial services or third-party services industry
- Three years of experience with Virtual Desktop management and implementation is a plus
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and decision-making ability
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Participation in continuing education opportunities
- Demonstrates solid time management and organization skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with people in a wide range of positions and levels
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time
- Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone
- Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy
- This job may require bending and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently
