Are you detail-oriented and looking for meaningful work? STAT Informatic Solutions is looking for a Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you’ll help oversee the team and production, manage and process records, ensuring they’re handled with accuracy, care, and confidentiality.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY

The Imaging Team Lead oversees the daily preparation, scanning, indexing, and verification of records and charts. In addition to performing standard Document Processing Specialist duties, the Team Lead manages workflow and monitors employee productivity to ensure operational efficiency. This role frequently serves as the primary trainer for new hires, providing guidance and support during onboarding. The Imaging Team Lead also assists with various administrative tasks as assigned and communicates any issues affecting the quality or timely completion of production to the Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

• Assist supervisors in managing daily workflow and production operations as directed.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal team members and external customers.
• Strictly adhere to all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies.
• Support the training of new hires by leveraging operational knowledge of production processes and utilizing STAT Informatic Solutions’ training programs.
• Monitor queue lists and emails daily, responding promptly and appropriately to inquiries.
• Assist with daily chart quality control and report processing as directed.
• Serve as backup to the supervisor when needed.
• Follow all company policies, guidelines, and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Help monitor time and attendance, and contribute to scheduling recommendations to ensure the production team meets established goals.
• Participate actively in periodic team meetings.
• Perform all duties of a Document Processing Specialist accurately and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Team Leads must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, conveying information clearly, proactively, and concisely to all key stakeholders. They are expected to manage their time effectively by organizing tasks and meeting deadlines, while exercising sound judgment and making critical decisions in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Adaptability is essential, enabling Team Leads to work effectively within evolving work structures, processes, requirements, and cultures.

They must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships through trust and consistently exceeding expectations is required. Team Leads should take initiative by promptly and proactively resolving problems, confidently handling difficult or antagonistic situations, and providing constructive guidance and feedback to team members to facilitate task completion or defend positions when necessary.

Overall, Team Leads must demonstrate strong decision-making skills while adhering to established company procedures.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Experience with computers, office equipment, and relevant software is necessary to effectively perform daily production tasks.
• Thorough knowledge of federal and state information regulations and medical recordkeeping requirements, when applicable.
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening in accordance with client and company policies and guidelines.

• Repetitive hand and wrist movements for scanning and keyboard input
• Bending, reaching, and stretching to access file storage or scanner trays
• Ability to visually inspect scanned images for clarity and accuracy

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is typically performed in an office setting located within a hospital or warehouse environment. It may require prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing. The role demands eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment. A normal range of hearing and vision is necessary to accurately prepare, record, and communicate reports. Work schedules for Team Leads may vary based on operational demands and business needs. Flexibility to adjust work hours, including occasional changes to the schedule, is expected.
