Pay Range: 100k-130k

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Lead compliance programs related to air emissions (CAA), water discharges (CWA), waste management (RCRA), EPCRA, and TSCA.

Develop, maintain, and update environmental permits, reports, and records (e.g., TRI, Tier II, NPDES, Title V, Stormwater).

Act as the site subject matter expert (SME) on environmental regulations and best practices.

Conduct audits, inspections, and environmental risk assessments; identify gaps and drive corrective actions.

Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper handling, storage, labeling, and disposal in compliance with regulations.

Coordinate and interface with regulatory agencies during inspections, permitting, and reporting activities.

Lead training programs for employees and contractors on environmental procedures and compliance requirements.

Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and emissions reduction projects.

Track and report environmental performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, engineering, and corporate EHS.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of environmental compliance experience in the chemical manufacturing or process industry.

Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state/local environmental regulations.

Demonstrated experience with Title V air permitting, wastewater management, and waste minimization programs.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Proficiency with environmental management systems (EMS) and reporting software.

Ability to visual, design, and implement systematic EHS improvements

Strong skills related to leadership, teamwork, interpersonal relations / communications, customer focus, influencing/impact, work management, and results-orientation
