Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant!

We're on the hunt for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Longmont, CO.

What You'll Do:

As our Staff Accountant, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our financial ship sailing smoothly. You'll handle everything from maintaining accurate financial records to analyzing data and ensuring we're always in line with financial reporting standards. Here's a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:

• Crunch the Numbers: Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, process company credit cards, and manage check requests and expense reports.
• Collaborate and Coordinate: Work closely with our AP Clerk to review, code, and process vendor bills, and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Be the Month-End Maestro: Create Month-End and weekly payroll journal entries, and file those annual 1099s like a pro.
• Tackle Special Projects: Dive into ad hoc analyses, reports, and projects as they come up—because there's always something new to learn!

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Whether you're fresh out of school or have up to 3 years of experience with accounts payable, journal entries, or general accounting, we want to hear from you!
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, a strong grasp of basic accounting principles, and top-notch time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for detail and a knack for spotting discrepancies before they become issues.
• Education: A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field is required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with experience with US GAAP, public accounting, and software like NetSuite, AvidXchange, and Expensify.
