About the Role
FellowshipLIFE is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Content Marketing Specialist to help tell the stories that make our communities unique.
This role is ideal for a passionate storyteller who thrives on creating engaging content across multiple platforms. You'll travel to our senior living communities throughout New Jersey to capture authentic resident and employee stories through photography, videography, interviews, and written content.
From producing social media videos and YouTube content to writing blogs and planning content calendars, you'll play a key role in bringing the FellowshipLIFE brand to life while helping prospective residents, families, and future employees better understand who we are.
What You'll Do
- Travel regularly to FellowshipLIFE communities throughout New Jersey to capture engaging resident lifestyle, employee, wellness, dining, and event content.
- Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality photo and video content for social media, YouTube, websites, digital advertising, and email campaigns.
- Conduct interviews with residents, team members, and community leaders to develop authentic stories that showcase the FellowshipLIFE experience.
- Develop and manage the social media content calendar for assigned communities, including writing captions, scheduling content, and monitoring engagement.
- Partner with Executive Directors, Life Enrichment teams, Sales, and Marketing to identify compelling storytelling opportunities and coordinate content creation.
- Attend signature community events throughout the year to document experiences and create engaging multimedia content.
- Assist with blogs, newsletters, website content, educational resources, and other marketing initiatives.
- Manage and organize FellowshipLIFE's library of photography and video assets.
- Monitor content performance across social media and YouTube, using analytics to optimize future content.
- Stay current on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices while introducing fresh content ideas that strengthen FellowshipLIFE's brand.
- Support recruitment marketing by creating employee spotlight and workplace culture content.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy on quarterly content planning and campaign execution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience creating digital content, managing social media, or working in a multimedia marketing role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing photography, videography, video editing, and storytelling.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interviewing skills.
- Experience editing short-form and long-form video content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple communities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent travel throughout New Jersey.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects) or similar creative software.
- Experience with HubSpot or other social media management platforms.
- Knowledge of YouTube optimization, SEO, and content marketing.
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, nonprofit, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
