Job Description

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Team as the VP Strategy, Product Development and M&A. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business strategy, optimizing resource management, and leading M&A initiatives to ensure growth and profitability in line with our Group's vision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the function's strategy, plans and objectives for the region in line with Group's vision, strategy, standards and protocols.
  • Develop and implement the business strategy, plans, and objectives for DHL Supply Chain, aligned with the Group's vision and protocols.
  • Lead scenario development and forecasting for resource allocation, including financial, people, material, and technological resources.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of DHL and/or regional strategy, ensuring timely and accurate financial planning and budget calculations.
  • Drive innovation in planning tools and methods, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the division and/or region.
  • Lead the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) sub-functional strategy considering business strategy, profit impact, directions from Senior Management and regulations.
  • Lead highly sensitive / complex M&A projects in accordance with guidelines covering financial aspects such as due diligence, valuation as well as project organization and approval processes.
  • Negotiate on fees, volume of work, etc. with internal and external customers, particularly, while mandating external consultants with M&A transactions.
  • Ensure and monitor Post-Merger Integration (PMI) process implementation as per PMI guidelines
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as investment banks, M&A consultancy firms, legal teams, and target companies.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, required
  • MBA, preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience with real supply chain issues for company(s) in one of our sectors, required
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in at least one of the following: strategic planning/analysis, account management, or acquisitions/strategic partnerships required
  • Experience as a management consultant or investment banker or working in a strategic role in supply chain function, preferred
  • Ability to champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
