  • Improve procurement and procure-to-pay processes, with a focus on simplifying workflows, increasing efficiency, and reducing cycle times.
  • Investigate practical applications of AI to enhance procurement analysis, process efficiency, and negotiation preparation.
  • Support a collaborative procurement environment by sharing knowledge, providing coverage across the team, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in category management, strategic sourcing, or a comparable function.
  • Demonstrated experience with strategic sourcing, vendor management, and complex commercial contract negotiations.
  • Experience procuring SaaS, software, cloud infrastructure, or other technology products and services.
  • Working knowledge of cloud hosting, infrastructure services, and common commercial terms used in technology agreements.
  • Understanding of procure-to-pay processes, systems, and procurement operations; experience with Zip or a similar platform is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with executives and cross-functional stakeholders and influence procurement decisions effectively.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and experience using spend data and market intelligence to guide sourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable cost savings and tangible procurement outcomes.
  • Advanced project management skills and the ability to independently manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex commercial topics clearly to different audiences.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and self-directed approach, with the confidence to lead discussions and take ownership of initiatives.
  • Experience within a software or technology business is preferred, though relevant experience from other industries is welcome.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
Benefits:
