The Sr Security Architecture Manager will play a critical role in shaping secure technology strategies across AI, machine learning, and enterprise security environments.
This position is responsible for designing advanced security architectures that protect innovative AI-driven platforms and data ecosystems.
The role combines deep security expertise with emerging AI security practices to ensure resilient, ethical, and compliant solutions.
You will collaborate with engineering, data science, infrastructure, legal, and business teams to embed security-by-design principles across the organization.
The ideal candidate will influence security standards, evaluate emerging technologies, and guide teams through complex security challenges.

Accountabilities:

The Sr Security Architecture Manager will lead the development and implementation of security frameworks focused on protecting AI/ML ecosystems, enterprise platforms, and sensitive data environments. This role requires strategic thinking, technical depth, and the ability to influence teams through expertise and collaboration.

  • Design and implement secure architectures for AI/ML pipelines, large language models, automated decision systems, and enterprise applications.
  • Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis focused on emerging AI threats, including prompt injection, model inversion, and data poisoning.
  • Develop and maintain AI security standards, governance frameworks, policies, and best practices related to model integrity, data provenance, and responsible AI development.
  • Provide security guidance and architectural recommendations to engineering, DevOps, data science teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies, including AI-driven security platforms, automated testing tools, and privacy-enhancing solutions.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to support adherence to global regulations and security frameworks.
  • Perform vendor security assessments for third-party AI providers, cloud platforms, and technology partners.
  • Manage security reviews and audits for AI environments aligned with industry standards such as NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and SOC 2.
  • Create technical documentation, security designs, and data flow diagrams to support secure system development and governance.
  • Mentor security professionals and technical teams on AI security concepts, secure architecture practices, and emerging risks.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture, cloud security, and AI/ML protection strategies. They should demonstrate strong technical expertise, business awareness, and the ability to drive security initiatives across complex environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in information security, including at least 5 years focused on security architecture.
  • Proven experience securing large-scale data platforms, AI environments, or machine learning systems.
  • Strong understanding of AI security principles, adversarial threats, secure AI development practices, and model protection techniques.
  • Experience with security frameworks including NIST AI Risk Management Framework, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, and ISO 27001.
  • Hands-on experience designing secure cloud architectures across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of AI technologies and platforms, including large language models and AI services such as Claude, Gemini, or Azure OpenAI solutions.
  • Experience with identity and access management for automated systems, privacy-enhancing technologies, and data protection practices.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM platforms, and endpoint security.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions through collaboration, architecture guidance, and strategic recommendations.
