You will serve as a key connection point between students, educational partners, community agencies, and placement supervisors.

The Social Work Placement Coordinator will manage the end-to-end placement process by supporting students, developing placement opportunities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring alignment between academic requirements and field experiences.
- Manage assigned student caseloads by reviewing applications, understanding student goals and preferences, and guiding students through the placement journey.
- Conduct introductory meetings and regular check-ins with students to provide updates, answer questions, and help prevent placement delays.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with students, university partners, agencies, supervisors, and internal teams throughout the placement process.
- Conduct outreach to social work and human service organizations to identify new field placement opportunities and maintain existing partnerships.
- Build and strengthen relationships with agencies, field instructors, task supervisors, and educational stakeholders.
- Collect, review, and maintain placement documentation, including applications, resumes, forms, supervisor details, contracts, and placement timelines.
- Support student-to-site matching by evaluating student interests, program requirements, location, schedules, agency availability, and supervision qualifications.
- Track placement progress, manage follow-ups, and ensure milestones are achieved within established timelines.
- Maintain accurate records across tracking systems and provide regular updates on caseload status, placement progress, and outstanding needs.
- Identify and escalate complex placement, compliance, or student support concerns when needed.
- Meet performance goals related to outreach, placement confirmations, documentation quality, and student support.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in student support, social work, higher education, placement coordination, or partnership development, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
- Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred but not required.
- Two or more years of experience in social work, human services, higher education, advising, recruitment, student services, field education, or related areas preferred.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, caseloads, partnerships, or projects in a structured environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organization, time management, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive student information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Comfortable conducting communication through phone, email, video meetings, and digital collaboration tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, Salesforce, or similar tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
- Familiarity with social work field education requirements and placement processes is a plus.
- Experience working with community agencies, healthcare organizations, nonprofit organizations, behavioral health providers, or educational institutions is preferred.
- Competitive hourly compensation of approximately $21–$23 per hour.
