Job Description

Description:

Trans Lease, Inc., a leading equipment financing and leasing organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator / Salesforce Lead to own and advance our Salesforce environment. This is a senior, highly autonomous role: rather than simply executing delegated tasks, you will independently gather requirements, design solutions, and build them declaratively across a sophisticated, integration-rich org.

Beyond administration, this position carries a strong business analysis and user-experience focus. You will partner directly with stakeholders across the organization to understand how our business works, translate operational needs into well-designed Salesforce solutions, and ensure those solutions are intuitive for the people who use them every day. You will also play a central role in our upcoming portfolio management platform implementation, where you will be expected to wear many hats — analyst, designer, builder, and tester — and ramp quickly on our business processes.

Benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Life (Voluntary and Employer Paid) and Disability Insurance
  • 401(K) with company match beginning with your first contribution.
  • HSA and/or FSA, as applicable
  • Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Company Paid Holidays
  • Employee Car Discount Program

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration & Solution Ownership

  • Own day-to-day administration of the Salesforce org, including user, profile, role, permission set, and security management.
  • Manage incoming Salesforce user tickets, providing a high level of service to our team’s internal customers.
  • Independently design, build, and maintain declarative solutions — Flows, dynamic page layouts, validation rules, reports, and dashboards — from requirement through deployment.
  • Own data quality and management, including imports, exports, deduplication, and ongoing cleanup; define and enforce data standards.
  • Manage release and change processes, including sandbox strategy, testing, and deployment of new functionality.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and resolve them with minimal oversight; coordinate with our Apex development contractor when programmatic work is required.

Business Analysis

  • Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Collections, Sales, and Leadership to understand, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Translate operational and business needs into clear functional specifications and well-scoped Salesforce solutions.
  • Map current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that reduce manual work and strengthen data integrity.
  • Quickly develop a working understanding of Trans Lease’s business model, lease lifecycle, and cross-functional workflows.

User Experience & Process Design

  • Design intuitive, user-centered page layouts, Lightning pages, and Flow experiences that minimize clicks and reduce user error.
  • Apply UX best practices to ensure adoption — prioritizing clarity, consistency, and ease of use across the org.
  • Gather and incorporate end-user feedback to iteratively refine the experience after deployment.

Implementation Support

  • Serve as a key contributor to the 2027 portfolio management platform implementation — supporting requirements gathering, solution design, integration coordination, UAT, and change management.
  • Help ensure Salesforce and new platform data and processes align cleanly through and beyond the migration.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Coordinate and perform detailed QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new solutions and integrations, and document results.
  • Create and maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and system changes.
  • Develop user guides, SOPs, and training materials for end-users across Salesforce and its integrated platforms.

DocGen Template Management

  • Create, modify, and manage Nintex DocGen (Drawloop) templates, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements; troubleshoot and optimize as needed.

Collaboration, Communication & Accountability

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership; provide training and support to end-users.
  • Prioritize and manage your own workload against deadlines, tracking work in the team’s project management tooling (ClickUp).
  • Stay current on Salesforce best practices, releases, and certifications, and bring forward proactive recommendations.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience with strong, hands-on declarative expertise (Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, security model, reporting).
  • Working knowledge of SOQL and relational database structure.
  • Demonstrated business analysis capability — eliciting requirements, documenting processes, and translating needs into solutions.
  • Demonstrated UX / process design sensibility, with examples of building intuitive, well-adopted Salesforce experiences.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously — owning solutions end-to-end with minimal direction.
  • Ability to ramp quickly on a new and complex business domain.
  • Strong documentation, organization, time-management, and accountability skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and/or Salesforce Business Analyst certification.
  • Experience in the equipment financing and leasing industry.
  • Experience supporting a major platform implementation or data migration.
  • Familiarity with Nintex DocGen (Drawloop).
  • Experience with ClickUp, Jira, or Asana, and with process-diagramming tools such as Lucidchart.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Basic Apex literacy (a plus — dedicated Apex development is handled by a contractor).

Why Join Us?

  • A senior, high-autonomy role with real ownership of the Salesforce platform.
  • A seat at the table for a major, business-critical platform implementation.
  • A collaborative, supportive Technology team and direct partnership with the Director of Technology.
  • Access to ongoing professional development and Salesforce training resources.
  • Competitive compensation and a full benefits package.

Job Details:

  • Type: Salary
  • Compensation Range: $80,000 - $110,000
  • Reports To: Director of Technology
  • Closing Date: When Filled
