Position Information
Under the general direction of the SOM Facilities Director, the Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the department. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules and meetings, managing communications and records, supporting financial and personnel-related processes, preparing reports and correspondence, and assisting with department operations and special projects. The position serves as a key point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external partners, while ensuring efficient daily operations and a high level of customer service within the UCR School of Medicine. The full salary range for the Administrative Assistant is $32.74 - $52.32 hourly. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $34.43 hourly. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, years of licensure experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.This position is fully on-site at the UCR main campus.
