- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with industrial clients within the water treatment sector.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, networking, and market development activities.
- Manage a portfolio of mid-sized and large customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase account growth and customer retention.
- Deliver consultative and value-added solutions that address customer operational, production, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Conduct technical and mechanical on-site testing to support solution implementation and customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal technical, sales, and research teams to coordinate customer support and develop customized solutions.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive offerings, and industry developments to strengthen market positioning.
- Prepare sales reports, track activities through CRM tools, and analyze performance data to support business growth strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and successfully close agreements while meeting individual and team sales objectives.
- Travel regularly to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen relationships and support business development efforts.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial water treatment sales or related technical sales environments.
- Strong ability to identify prospects, develop new business opportunities, and close sales effectively.
- Proven experience managing customer relationships and growing strategic accounts.
- Excellent consultation, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and territory management abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand technical product lines and communicate their value effectively to customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
- Comfortable performing technical on-site testing and customer support activities.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory and for industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates should currently reside within the Greater Montreal area.
