About the role
The Property Manager oversees the property management function of the Center, ensuring accountability, compliance, and effective inventory control. This role provides leadership in managing government and company property, coordinating acquisition and disposal, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory and contractual guidelines. The Property Manager supervises property-related operations and works closely with other departments to maintain asset integrity.
What you'll do
- Oversee the acquisition, distribution, tracking, and disposal of Center property.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and Job Corps policies regarding asset management.
- Implement and maintain effective property control procedures.
- Supervise property staff and ensure proper training in inventory control procedures.
- Conduct periodic audits and reconciliation of property records.
- Ensure accurate reporting of all property to the Department of Labor and other regulatory bodies.
- Develop and oversee security protocols for safeguarding property.
- Monitor and manage the Electronic Property Maintenance System (EPMS).
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations and organization.
- Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and procurement teams.
- Provide reports and recommendations to leadership on property management efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience in property management, logistics, or asset control.
- Strong knowledge of government property regulations and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
The pay range for this role is:
60,000 - 66,000 USD per year(St. Louis JCC Main)
