The Burlington County Bridge Commission is seeking a Human Resources Director

Job Title: Human Resources Director (non-union)

Department: Administration

Hours: Full-Time 40 Hours a Week

Available Shifts: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm – Monday through Friday

Salary: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00

Position Purpose: Reporting to the ExecutiveDirector, the Human Resources Director provides high-level, confidential administrationdirectly related to the business operations of the Burlington County BridgeCommission and the Palmyra Cove Nature Park. The Human Resources Director is responsiblefor the overall function of the HR department including personnel administration,employee benefits and labor relations.


GeneralRequirements and Essential Functions

At the direction ofthe Executive Director, directs office activities to maintain efficiency andcompliance with company policies.

Administers accurate, timely, and compliant end-to-end payroll processing and compensation administration

Maintainsthe Commission's policy manual and revises as necessary; implements personnel policies and procedures and conducts staff briefing on same

Manage end-to-end hiring process; ensure Commission compliance with applicable employment law

Manage health and retirement benefit administration for employees and active retirees

Directsthe maintenance of all personnel records and files.

Administration of terms of collecting bargaining agreements and ongoing labor relations.

Consultswith labor counsel on all legal issues related to labor relations and personnelissues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Proficient to advanced ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

d Proficient to advanced ability to use payroll and HRIS systems.

3. Must have exceptional verbal, written, and digital communication skillsas the position will communicate daily with Commission Directors and staff,outside vendors, and the public.

5. Must be able to maintain confidentiality concerning any and allCommission business and/or legal matters.

6. Ability to perform in an office environment, sit at a desk for prolongedperiods, and work on a computer.

7. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

8. If required, must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

9. Ability to lift at least 5 pounds


Minimum Qualifications

1. Minimum of ten (10) years high-level Human Resources management experience.

2. Experience in local or county government or governmental services.

Licenses andCertification

HR Certification preferred - SHRM-S/CP, S/PHR or equivalent

May be required to be certified,registered, or licensed in a specialty area.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited college or university.
