Summary:The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies and employment laws. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. The HR Generalist helps foster a positive workplace culture, maintains accurate HR records, and assists with HR initiatives and projects that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information are essential. Education, Skills, and Experience Required:Three to five years of experience in human resources administration and training is essential, preferably in a banking environment.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred. Professional certification or the desire to obtain certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy.Competent and proficient understanding of HRIS systems, preferably ADP Workforce Now.A high level of interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to communicate policies and procedures and relate effectively with employees.Extensive knowledge of human resources operations, policies, and procedures to assist with the daily function of the department.Proficient and experienced administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
