About the Role

Join an innovative team at the forefront of autonomous vehicle technology. We are seeking dedicated Safety Drivers / Autonomous Vehicle Technicians to support daily vehicle testing and live passenger ride operations in Dallas. In this role, you will work with cutting-edge self-driving cars and delivery robots, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily autonomous vehicle testing and live ride operations.
  • Integrate, install, and troubleshoot vehicle electronics, wiring harnesses, and sensor suites (LiDAR, radar, cameras).
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical schematics, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform diagnostic checks using multimeters, electrical tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs, collaborate within a high-throughput production environment, and adhere strictly to safety guidelines.


Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 USD / hour
  • Hours: Full-Time (30+ hours/week)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
  • Location: Dallas, TX


Key Requirements

  • Proficiency with mechanical and electrical tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a systematic problem-solving mindset.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles for extended periods.
  • Strong team collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with electric vehicles (EV) or autonomous vehicle (AV) technology.
  • Familiarity with sensor integration (LiDAR, radar, cameras).
  • Experience working with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, connectors, and electronic modules.
  • Automotive service, vehicle retrofit, or technician background.
  • Hands-on skills in soldering, crimping, or basic fabrication.
