Compensation: Starting at $19/hour + commission

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium (LLPA) is a mission-driven institution dedicated to inspiring people to explore, discover, and learn about Earth’s diverse ecosystems. Founded in 1997, the Aquarium provides impactful educational experiences for guests of all ages and backgrounds.

Since opening its Draper, Utah facility in 2014, LLPA has welcomed more than 10 million visitors and delivered over 650,000 educational experiences to students. Home to over 4,000 animals representing 650 species, the Aquarium features immersive habitats from around the world, including coral reefs, kelp forests, the deep ocean, Antarctic waters, tropical rainforests, Asian cloud forests, and Utah’s freshwater ecosystems.

Accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) since 2019, LLPA is in an exciting phase of growth. With the opening of the Sam and Aline Skaggs Science Learning Center, the Aquarium became the largest in the Mountain West and the fifth largest aquarium in the continental United States, offering expanded opportunities for education, research, and professional impact.

Position Summary:

The Corporate Partnerships Coordinator supports and coordinates the Aquarium’s corporate partnership programs. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Aquarium’s Corporate Sponsorship and Development programs: cultivation events, printed materials, sponsorship announcements, fulfillment, activations and correspondence. Experience in a non-profit setting is highly preferred with demonstrable customer service skills and the ability to interact in a professional manner with team members, a diverse workforce, donors, and outside entities.


Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalentMust have at least one (1) years’ experience in planning and executing events, development programs, OR corporate sponsorship programs

Critical Skills/Competencies:

    Ability to prepare, analyze, interpret, and report on donor dataExcellent organizational, time management, planning, multi-tasking and communication skillsMust use discretion and demonstrate ability to work with sensitive and confidential financial informationAbility to work constructively with co-workers, Aquarium members and the general publicAbility to work alone and with minimal supervision and to communicate effectivelySalesforce experience preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Aid in the development of partner/donor programs or events and relationship management in order to increase contact and engagement of the partner/donor to drive renewals and additional salesConsistently and accurately utilize the Salesforce database to create and update constituent records, including logging activities and sponsorshipsAssist with organizing and executing behind the scenes tours and sponsor cultivation events, as well as off-site corporate sponsor visitsCoordinating Corporate Partnership recognition signage and delivery of sponsorship benefitsAttend special events and exhibit openings, as requested by the sponsor/donorOther projects and duties as assigned

Special Working Conditions:

    The position will primarily be in an office environmentPeriodic weekend or evening work is expected and some holidays
