Key Responsibilities

  • Performs basic testing of electronic equipment and peripherals
  • Perform data security wiping procedures on electronic assets including physically destroying data bearing assets according to strict company policies and procedures
  • Maintain integrity on inventory
  • Perform testing of key functions on equipment, including POST testing
  • Evaluates and identifies hardware for specific disposition
  • Record detailed asset information into the ERP system
  • Follows procedures regarding bin locations of equipment, relocation of equipment and picking of equipment for order fulfillment
  • Accurately locate and label incoming inventory and reconciliations
  • Perform basic functions in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Other tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of IT equipment (hard drives, memory, etc.)
  • Hardware build and repair experience (laptop, PC, server, etc.)
  • Ability to cope with pressure of peak workloads, short deadlines and project-based work
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow established processes/standards
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
  • A+ Certification preferred

Special Conditions of Employment

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally 100 lbs.
  • Standing, kneeling, pulling crouching walking and repetitive motions
