What you'll doAs a Software Engineering Intern, you will work alongside our engineering team to support the development and enhancement of key features across our applications and systems. You will contribute to building and refining solutions that are both user-centric and technologically sound, while gaining hands-on experience with our product's overall functionality and development practices.

What you'll doAs a Software Engineering Intern, you will work alongside our engineering team to support the development and enhancement of key features across our applications and systems. You will contribute to building and refining solutions that are both user-centric and technologically sound, while gaining hands-on experience with our product's overall functionality and development practices.
Responsibilities
- Build & Improve Features: Contribute to building and improving components of Tractian's web and mobile applications.
- Support ML Pipelines: Collaborate on machine-learning pipelines, model integration, and real-time inference systems under guidance.
- Write Quality Code: Write, test, and review clean, maintainable code using modern frameworks.
- Support API Development: Help develop APIs and automation tools that enhance predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Help troubleshoot and resolve software issues to support scalability, speed, and accuracy.
- Learn the Full Cycle: Gain exposure to real-world software development cycles and learn how AI-powered features move from concept to release.
- Contribute Across the Stack: Contribute to back-end and front-end feature development under mentorship.
- Support Performance Work: Help optimize system performance and scalability in cloud environments.
- Assist with AI/ML Deployment: Assist in deploying and validating AI/ML models within production applications.
- Document Your Work: Document code, APIs, and integrations clearly for future team use.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and product, to support seamless interoperability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one language: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or C++, gained through coursework or personal projects.
- Exposure to web frameworks (React, Node.js, Flask, FastAPI, etc.) or back-end systems.
- Genuine interest in AI, machine learning, and IoT-driven data systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
