Senior Acquisition Specialist in Dist. Columbia at INSIGHT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS LLC

Insight Technology Solutions was recently awarded a contract to provide aspects of acquisition program support for CG-9322, CG-9326, CG-9327, CG-9326DOMICE, and USACE. Required services include acquisition and program support services focused on technical, logistical, administrative, and management capabilities and expertise. As part of this effort, Insight is looking to identify an Acquisition Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Acquisition program management support activities including preparation, coordination, and development of acquisition briefs, documentation, reports, analyses, and other deliverables as required.
• Create, manage and update PMO databases, trackers, spreadsheets, reports, and other items as required. Develop, update, and track program schedules and events.
• Configuration management activities including supporting configuration management processes, meetings, and processing engineering change proposals.
• Logistics management activities including GFP/GFI tracking, development of logistic artifacts.
• Systems engineering activities including preparation, coordination, and execution of technical reviews, meetings, artifacts, and documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree plus seven years demonstrated experience supporting Major Surface Acquisition Program(s) or project management professional certification (PMP), or equivalent.
• Must have seven years of experience involving development of maintenance and support specifications, contract data requirements lists (CDRL), statements of work (SOW), engineering change proposals (ECP), SOPs, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and policies and procedures.
• Shall have five years of experience managing, logistics, engineering, and configuration management personnel for a Major Surface Acquisition Program.
• Qualified candidate(s) shall have experience developing, implementing, and testing SharePoint sites and creating and managing workflows in SharePoint. Qualified candidate(s) shall be proficient with MS Office products specifically Access, Project, Excel.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $90-$105K
Work Location: Hybrid (Washington, DC)
