Job Description
The Operations Implementation and Special Projects Strategist is a collaborative, forward-thinking role at Revelation Pharma, LLC focused on driving meaningful progress across the network through disciplined project execution and workflow design. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position serves as the engine behind operational change — translating corporate priorities into structured projects, optimizing how workflows across teams, and ensuring that new initiatives land with lasting impact.
This role is well-suited for someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity — who can assess how work gets done, identify where friction lives, and design better paths forward. The Strategist does not simply manage tasks; they architect the operational systems and implementation frameworks that allow Revelation Pharma to scale its programs, improve performance, and execute with consistency across all departments affected.
SPECIAL PROJECTS LEADERSHIP & IMPLEMENTATION
The core of this role is the ownership and execution of special projects that cross departmental lines, require structured management, and are directly tied to Revelation Pharma’s strategic direction. The Strategist is accountable for moving these initiatives from concept through completion — building the plans, engaging and aligning stakeholders, and holding the work on track with post implementation monitoring.
Project Intake & Scoping
- Partner with the VP of Operations to evaluate incoming initiatives and determine scope, ownership, resource requirements, and timeline before work begins.
- Develop implementation plans that give all stakeholders a shared understanding of goals, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Triage competing priorities and help leadership make informed decisions about sequencing and resource allocation across the project portfolio.
- Identify early in the lifecycle which departments, vendors, or external partners will be required — and begin alignment before dependencies become bottlenecks.
Cross-Functional Execution & Stakeholder Management
- Lead cross-functional workstreams by convening the right people, maintaining accountability for action items, and keeping momentum across multiple departments simultaneously.
- Serve as the VP of Operations’ designated representative in planning conversations, carrying priorities into the work and carrying outcomes and updates back to leadership.
- Proactively manage stakeholder communication — ensuring department leads, leadership, and project participants always know where things stand and what is expected of them.
- Navigate organizational complexity and competing interests with professionalism, keeping projects on track without sacrificing relationship quality.
Go-Live Readiness & Post-Implementation Review
- Build go-live checklists, training plans, and change management protocols into every major initiative so that new programs launch with staff prepared and workflows established.
- Monitor early-stage implementation closely to identify adoption gaps or workflow breakdowns before they become entrenched with problems.
- Conduct structured post-implementation reviews that document lessons learned and feed continuous improvement into future projects.
- Build repeatable playbooks for implementation patterns that will recur as the organization scales — reducing the burden on teams to reinvent the wheel each time.
CORPORATE STRATEGY ALIGNMENT & EXECUTION
A defining contribution of this role is to ensure that the operational work being done day to day is purposefully connected to where Revelation Pharma is going. The Strategist bridges strategy and execution — helping the Operations department not only respond to corporate direction but actively enable it.
Translating Strategy into Operational Action
- Partner with the VP of Operations to stay closely aligned with corporate priorities and translate those priorities into concrete, sequenced plans that departments can execute.
- Maintain a shared, up-to-date view of active corporate initiatives and where each operational team plays a role — helping staff understand not just what they need to do, but why it matters.
- Proactively spot areas where departmental operations and corporate direction may be drifting apart, and work collaboratively to realign before misalignment becomes a performance issue.
- Support a culture of accountability across the Operations department — where teams have clear goals, understand expectations, and feel supported in meeting them.
- Strategist for Research and Development, Patient Reported Outcomes, Residency Program, Call Center, Building Management, HIVERx, and Customer Service initiatives along with other needs of the operations leadership teams as they arise.
Revenue Growth & Financial Awareness
- Maintain a working understanding of how operational decisions connect to Revelation Pharma’s financial performance — and bring that lens to project recommendations and workflow designs.
- Help ensure that operational infrastructure — staffing, workflows, technology, and communication — is in place to support Non-GLP service line growth as new programs are introduced.
- Bring a cost-conscious mindset to process improvement work, looking for ways to help departments do more with what they have before recommending additional resources.
- Evaluate new program and technology investments with a practical eye toward both operational benefit and financial return, helping leadership make well-informed decisions.
- Help develop operational reporting and dashboards that give leadership clear visibility into performance trends, including where costs are running ahead of expectations.
